Nestled in Wisconsin, our NE Acres Miniature Farm is all about raising happy, healthy, and oh-so-hairy miniature Highlands, donkeys, and a variety of other lovable furry and feathered friends. We’re passionate about ethical animal care and love sharing the joy of our hobby farm animals with others.

We offer mini Scottish Highlands, Highparks, Aberdeens, and Highland crosses, as well as donkeys, grass-fed beef, and free-range eggs.

About NE Acres Miniature Farm

Located in Northeast Wisconsin up on a small hill behind overgrown shrubs and grasses overlooking the Fox River was a cute little white farmhouse with a beautiful red barn!  This is where we decided to raise our family and start our farm.  NE Acres Farm started as a small hobby farm with just a couple horses and goats. Today this small hobby farm boasts a beautiful fold of miniature cattle and donkeys with free-range chickens, goats, pigs, sheep, and more!  What started as a hobby farm quickly evolved into more as we wanted to share the love we found with our animals with others!   

Both of us grew up on and around dairy farms. I (Nicole) have showed and judged dairy cattle competitively nurturing a deep respect and love for genetics and animal care.  It is with that love of good genetics and animal care that we have carefully selected the animals to join our breeding programs and strive to produce the best animals for others to love on and care for!  As a family, with our kids, we share the fun, grit, responsibility, hardships, dirt, and joys of owning and running our farm.
